C. Nadia Seremetakis is a published/translated, awarded author and Professor of cultural and applied anthropology. Born and raised in Greece, she studied and taught in New York where she lived for more than twenty years.
She has conducted long term fieldwork in urban and rural Greece, and comparative field researches in various parts of the world. She has written books and articles in two languages, including poetry, and has engaged in public/applied anthropology extensively in both continents. Currently she teaches at the University of the Peloponnese and divides her life between USA and Europe.
